Bestia: New champion

Jam King: 14 year reign over
As Jam King advanced to the finals, he faced last year's number one contender Uomo Bestia. Jam King defeated Bestia in last year's controversial contest.

Uomo Bestia had to defeat three tough competitors to get to Jam King. He defeated 15th ranked Giorg Hammond by a 23 point margin. Helping him in defeating Hammond was the Double Jam Rap Attack. Next, Bestia went on to meet Plantos Riveiros (ranked 8th in the coaches poll). He defeated him by scoring 12 points with a Reverse Jam Breaker with a minute left in regulation.

Bestia moved on to the semi-finals, where he met 4th ranked Sham a Jam-a-Ding Dong from Austria. He was easily defeated.

The Championship Match began at 9 p.m. when Jam King walked into the Designated Jam Area. Jam King took an early lead when he performed his Jam King Jamathon, scoring an early 25 points. Uomo Bestia rallied in the second half to tie the match at 123-123. With a mere 5 seconds remaining, Bestia performed his Last-Second Jameroo, giving him five points, and a 128-123 victory.

After the contest, we talked to Bestia: "Jammin' takes a lot of talent. God gave me the talent to Jam, and I can Jam with the best of them." We also talked with Jam King: "I think I could have won if I did the Jamplex Plus. But I'll get my chance next year.

Dr.X predicts that the illustrious career of the Jam King is finally over and that now Uomo Bestia will have his chance in the spotlight. He also predicts that amateur jammer, Rick Jammison will soon be ready for pro competition.
