Thursday, December 3, 1998 Melf the Elf, one of Santa's more notorious helpers was arrested yesterday for physically abusing fellow elves while keeping them locked up in the toy production room in the North Pole.

Melf denies all charges. In an interview, Melf said "How could I have abused my own people? My conscience would not have allowed it. If anything, I was a friend to these fellow elves. It's unbelievable." Dr.X says that Melf is a well-known liar and he is not to be trusted by anyone with half a brain. Melf faces a possible sentence of five years in prison plus community service and fines.
